Welcome to The Academic Learning Center's Website!

The purpose of the Academic Learning Center, a free, after school tutoring program for students in grades one through five who are performing below grade level, is to help these students reach their individual academic learning potential and develop positive self-esteem in a safe, school-based environment.

Working in conjunction with the public school systems in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, children are chosen to participate in the program by their teachers and stay after school at their individual school to receive help.

The Academic Learning Center was established in 1998 and has been operating successfully with great results ever since.
